2026 GAC S7 PHEV SUV — Export Specifications & Trims

The 2026 GAC S7 is the latest update of GAC's 4.9-metre plug-in hybrid SUV, launched in China in July 2026. A larger 38.88 kWh battery raises CLTC electric range to 255 km on front-wheel-drive trims, and a stronger 200 kW front motor lifts combined output to 318 kW. What changed versus the 2025 GAC S7? Battery capacity grew from 36.3 to 38.88 kWh, CLTC electric range from 205 to 255 km (front-wheel drive), and the front motor from 170 to 200 kW. LiDAR trims move to a 192-line Seyond unit with 250 m range and a Qualcomm SA8650P chip. Ground clearance is listed at 200 mm.

Which trim should an importer pick? The Pro is the price-led choice for retail and fleets. The Pro LiDAR adds navigation-assist hardware. The Max LiDAR adds rear-seat comfort for chauffeur and VIP work. The Ultra 4WD LiDAR is the choice for sand, gravel, snow and performance-minded buyers.

Some Chinese listings refer to this update as the 2027 model year. On this site it is called the 2026 GAC S7 because it reached the market in 2026.
